Elon About To Implement Cryptocurrencies?

Tweets from a Blogger are giving a hint that Twitter might be introduce cryptocurrencies to their platform soon in order to enable creators to monetize their content.

UPDATE: The blogger apparently deleted her account after it turned out that a.) this info was available since 2 days (see below) and b.) she was facing a shitstorm after falsely claiming her tweet would have pumped the price of DOGE. She now deleted her account. GG.

#Twitter is working on Coins!

The Blogger Jane Manchun Wong apparently found something that Twitter is currently working on; a tip module that supposedly will enable content creators to monetize their tweets.

Something that Elon musked already announced previously, saying the platform will allow longer content forms and focus also more on videos.

Jane is known for uncovering features that were not officially announced, yet. I am pretty sure that we will see an official announcement in early 2023, latest.

‘Coins placeholder’ leads me to believe that Elon will in fact allow multiple cryptocurrencies. However, DOGE spiked shortly after her tweet; of course:

Personally I am looking forward to those new features. Twitter has the chance to take a direct hit on YouTube, Substack, Medium, .. and Elon won’t miss:

The only question I have is whether a verified account/KYC will be required to participate in these new programs. I know a lot of people who would monetize their Substack newsletter, for example, but can't or don't want to take payments via Stripe.

We will see. Overall, it's a very bullish event, as an introduction of Crypto on Twitter would abruptly expose millions of people to the topic.
